Interested in a Fremont, CA ENWorld Gameday mid-late August?

Please post here if you might be interested in attending an ENWorld gameday in mid-late August at Scenario Hobbies in Fremont.

WHERE: Why Fremont?

Well, it's an hour & 15 minute drive from my place south of Santa Cruz, but I figure it is a good central Bay Area location. Maybe even some Sacto people will be interested in coming. Plus, Scenario has a big game room we can use.

WHEN: Why mid-late August? ( Saturday Aug 21 or 28?)

Well, unfortunately, we can't all go to GenCon! Any sooner, and we might not get it organized in time - later might be possible, but I'm not sure if school starting would affect participation.

WHAT:
I'd be willing to run a game. I've got an 8th level adventure "The Ominimancer's Stolen Souls" that I'd love to (*ahem*) get some more playtesting feedback for. Or I could run a Mutants & Masterminds scenario.

If you are interested in running a game, please post the details here, and we can arrange sign-ups after we see if there is enough interest in this.

I'm sure I could get a WarMachine PressGanger there to demo Privateer's miniature skirmish game too.

D&D Miniature's might be fun as well.

Of course there will be door prizes!

I'll be living north of Sac by then, but its not that bad of a drive.

I could run some D&D 3.5 or Modern if there was interest.

It'd depend on the date. I work every other Saturday. The 21st would be bad and hte 28th good. That is of course, assuming I could get a kitchen pass. How far south of Santa Cruz are you BFG? I'm down in Monterey.

Sure, if I'm around -- the last week of August, I think I'm out of town, but barring that, I'd be up for it -- could even get my gaming group to show up. I'd be happy to run something.

I'm in Aptos - so not too far South of Santa Cruz - I used to live in PG though ( A few blocks from Asilomar beach ) - back when Fort Ord was still open. I miss those days...

Ack, Sundays would actually be evn worse for me, as I work every Sunday. From the response you seem to be getting, it looks doubtful anyway...

I'm familiar with Aptos, I've been there a few times. My group used to game alternately between here and Santa Cruz as I had some players from Santa Cruz and San Fran. NOw everyone's from Monterey area though. If you're ever in need of a group and don't mind the drive, let me know.

I'll probably let this idea die quietly if we don't get much on the way of responses soon. I thought Scenario Games in Fremont would be perfect to host a gameday, cuz besdies a central location, they have two games rooms ( about 8 tables ) separate from the store with it's own bathroom and everything. Maybe I'll try again late winter...
