Interested in a Fremont, CA ENWorld Gameday mid-late August?

If we do do this, and it does wind up on a day I can make it, I too could likely run a game. I'll also talk to my players and see if any of them would be interested in attending.

I live about 10 minutes away from Scenario, so I would be interested in coming. The only problem is that I start school at UC Davis on the last week of September...

This may be a dumb question, but is Fremont anywhere near Los Angeles? I'm moving out there in August, and I'd probably be up for it if it's nearby. Tragically, my computer is currently running a little too slowly at the moment for me to have the patience to check MapQuest.

Fremont is 4, 5 or 6 hours from LA, depending on how fast you drive. So, no it's not anywhere near LA. :)

I would imagine myself and my gamer friends in the East Bay would be interested, especially if they don't have to pay for anything, except maybe lunch and gas.

If we can make this happen ( enough interest ) there will be no cost for the use of the room, and door prizes will be dontated, so there should be no out of pocket expenses.

heh. i graduate from davis in a week or so, and will be moving back to San jose, which will make this much more viable for me, assuming i dont make gencon.

of course, this means i'm also looking for local games too...

Something just dawned on me. If you are familiar with Oakland, and in particular Endgame, you might be able to work something out with them. They hosted the Gencon Road show last year and RPGnet's Game Day.

The reason I bring this up, they are moving to a bigger location. Right next door to a BREWERY! I already plan to try to herd my friends together to make a day out of it in July when the move is finished.

So, just something to consider if Scenario Games doesn't work, (which I've been to, not quite so much now that they moved from the Mowry avenue location).

NorCal: Home of the RPG Wasteland, bleached bone territory, no life

OK, BFG. You're now have free admission to the Overworked and Underappreciated Event Organizers' Association (OUEOA). :p

The NorCal Gameday website and message board is still open. I have a willing merchent in Santa Cruz. BFG has one in Fremont. Hell, I don't care. You guys get up off o' your fat butts and devote a little energy to your "hobby", we might actually get a game day together in this corner of the country!

Oh, I know, it's summertime and you have better things to do. In that case, you're not gamers, you're dilettantes! You play at being gamers.

Anytime you're ready to actually game, post on the boards and let me know. I might set somthing up. :\
