First, I thought: "Cool. I'll grab it this instant."
And that's probably what I'll do.

But now I'm wondering: what does this tell your customers, who've purchased the Internet Arcana? Wouldn't it be better to first dump the price (to halve it's value or less -$3 or $4), and make it free after a few month?
I've got to admit that I'm not sure about the lifetime of the Internet Arcana - how old it is and such, so maybe that'll put everything into perspective ;)

Anyway, I'm sure I'll enjoy it :)

It was the 3.0 SRD, new SRD version is out.... hence the age of it isn't necessarily part of the equation.

It was released the 21st of May, 2003. So it's been out 6 months and we've only has a few sales in the past two when it was on sale for $3. Since there are no plans to update to 3.5, we thought it had finished its cycle. Not all of our products are going to become free after they hit the end of their cycle because they won't need conversions. Most of our stuff isn't very affected by 3.5.

And I thought it was a good chance to show people what you can do with hyperlinks to ease navigation in PDFs. It does dramatically increase production times however, and it doesn't seem to have that much of a difference on sales. It was sort of a test on the hyperlink issue. It appears that just bookmarking (which is much easier than hyperlinking in pdf) suits most people just fine.

Hope ya enjoy it,

joe b.

Now I know what's going on.

I was mucking around at your site, thought I'd check out the products page, and found the beast for free. Soon as i can I'll be seeing about having it printed out for easier reading.

What I have seen of it looks good, and the hyperlinking works well. If I had a larger monitor I'd probably get more use out of it on screen.
