[Intrigues of Faerdal]Campaign World Focus Group Proposal

Protean

Still the Same
I'm currently in the process of designing a homebrew that I hope to adopt as a standard, but I've found that the lack of other DMs at the University I attend gives me little leverage to springboard ideas. Since after this semester, I'll be leaving the school, I'll be waiting on this world's usage.

Under any event I'd like to gather a group of people here on the boards that I can use as a springboard of sorts, espicially since I plan on modifying and adding to the D&D rules, more or less to provoke a unique feel, hopefully. I'd like to propose certain elements and define them with the help of a group of DMs that will offer constructive criticism, ideas, and proposals of their own.

Basically my main interests are in defining the religious and political structures of the world, the handling of magic items in a game where PCs are members of a noble caste, designing a world with realistic leveled NPCs much in the tradition of SHARK,the encouragement of PCs as Great Men of History, going back outside of the dungeon, and maintaining ambiguity.

Is there any interest here? I'd probably setup something along the lines of a private forum off-site as I'd like to work with a group of people who I can become familiar with. Am I irrational and unbalanced in my line of thinking?

As a side note, commitment would be rather limited as I don't plan on using the setting until June at the earliest. As always input on the process would be appreciated.
