Mythidoria is a high fantasy setting where the players are hero’s a bit larger than life bearing the banner of light in strife against great darkness. On the other hand, many aspect of the setting are whimsical, even tongue and cheek. The setting borrows heavily from current, historical, mythological, and literary sources and mixes them in humors ways which still provide recognizable archetypes for characters and campaign settings. The setting is linked to A Celtic Mythology setting (Faerie) and a Norse Mythology (Jötunheimr) via Gates. The Gate Mechanism can be used to link the Mythidiria setting to almost any literary setting or existing campaign setting.
The rules are build off of and compatible with D20 version 3.5 and the Pathfinder™ system. Races, classes, and deities have been replaced with Mythidoria specific material to support the flavor of the setting with game mechanics
