Introduction

First I'd like to introduce myself. My avatar name is Panther Silverelf. I have been on many different forums using this name so some of you may have seen it before.

I have been playing RPGs for 20+ years now. It all started with OD&D, the red boxed set iirc. As the years have passed I have played 1st Ed, AD&D, AD&D 2Ed, D&D 3Ed, 3.5, Rolemaster, World of Darkness/Mage the Ascension, and others lost to my memory.

If they can be counted, I have also played many CRPGs, starting with the original Bard's Tale, Zork, most of the different D&D named games, many MUDS, Everquest, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, and NWN 1 and 2.

I recently came back full circle to my favorite rpg, Dungeons & Dragons, in this case 3.5. I have approximaely 75 books, core, splat or otherwise, not including adventures, i.e. approximately $2500 in materials.

I have been a lurker here for sometime now and thought it was time to say hello.

Welcome to the boards, 'fraid we're spending all our time arguing about whether 4e rox or sux at the moment.

I've got a similar background to yourself, started in '82 with red box D&D, played a bunch of rpgs, crpgs, etc. I'm particularly a fan of D&D, superhero rpgs, anything from Chaosium, Morrowind, World of Warcraft and the Atari Temple of Elemental Evil crpg, which actually works provided you download all the patches.

Rarely managed to get onto EnWorld for ages, as my connection to here was so bad I just stuck to the WOTC forums, always got "time outs". Getting that way again due to 4th ed hoopla overloading the server I guess, lol.

Temple of Elemental Evil is my fave D&D computer game of all time, awesome, IMHO wish we could get more like it. Troika were superb game makers, pity they had stinking Atari as their publisher :/ Vampire TM: Bloodlines was also superb: best, perhaps only, real 1st person shooter/RPG.
