Invisibility and Grappling breakdown [Updated]

Could someone with quasi godlike intelligence breakdown INVISIBILITY and GRAPPLING please ?

These are the two things that confuse me the most in 3.5 (and 3.0 for that matter).

What I am looking for is a breakdown like the following example:

COLD IMMUNITY (DMG p. 291):

- No damage from any cold attack
- +50 % damage from fire attacks (i.e. a 30 damage fireball will do 45 damage to a frost giant on a failed save and 22 damage on a successful save)

So I need all the nooks and crannies of INVISIBILITY and GRAPPLING (especially with respect with monsters and improved grapple)...

Thank you very much in advance !

These are for 3.5...

GRAPPLING (PH. 155-157)
INVISIBILITY (DMG. 295)
IMPROVED GRAB (MM. 310)

You should be able to find the specifics for these in the SRD. I'd break them down for you, but...that's just too much work. :)

Yeah... I know...

I know where to get the info, but what I was looking for is a step-by-step method of resolving these.

Especially invisibility. I can't believe they didn't do that. Would have been to good, I guess...

I mean, come on. The way it is described, there's more things to check now. Invisibility is just too good. Unless the PC's have the right spells, invisible creatures are a real nightmare to adjudicate.

The fact that the grapple bonus is included in the MM is a real time saver though.

Oh well...

OK, Ok...

I re-read it VERY carefully, and invisibility rules are better. Once an invisible critter attacks you, you only need to make a DC 20 Spot check to pinpoint it (albeit as a move equivalent action).

Good. Very good.

That's one rule change I'm very happy with.
