Invisible allies/creatures and their squares

How do you treat allies that are invisible during movement in combat. In these scenarios x, y, and z, are allies and E is the enemy. Character y is invisible and x doesnt know y is there. What happens if, in the case of xyEz, x attempts to 5 foot step into y's square and then full attack? Is this possible? Does he notice that a creature is in the square with him(after he enters or when he attempts to enter)? Are x or y forced to go elsewhere?
What about the case of x _ y _ Ez and x attempting to charge E not knowing that y is in the way?
I have to ask this because I have the rotten luck of being y and having allies move through my square. The last time we played was during 3.0 rules and now that we are moving to 3.5 with the charging changes I thought I should get an opinion from the great mass of minds that is EN World.

thanks all,

You can move, but not charge, through an ally occupied square. You cannot stop movement in an occupied square. Having that "occupied square" be an invisible person doesn't change those rules.

I don't know. Personally, I think this is a a point where the rules do not cover anything. It sounds like a house rule situation to me.

However, if looking at it logically, an ally allows you to move through their square as they recognize you, so, in the case of invisibility, I'd say they don't recognize you (as they can't see you) so no movement.

The other option would be to give each person (allied or not) a 50% chance to move through the space as neither notices the other and so they don't bump into each other.

Again, I should state that there are no rules in place for this, so I really do not know, and all that is written above is simply a suggestion.

What Ottergame said. If an ally (x) charges into your square, or tries to stop there, and you (y) haven't readied an action to respond, I'd say your ally immediately makes an attempt to overrun you. You'll end up with one or the other being forced out of the square and possibly prone.

You can't overrun on a charge though. Though I did do that before the errata, though it's not techically do-able any more. Also, if you go by a strict reading of the rules, you can only overrun an opponent. That's a technicallity more than anything else, but a DM could stop it if he wanted to.

Not like overruning an ally would be a big deal, since he could simply choose avoid you.
