No worries. People seem to miss the "non-2024" 5E tag a lot.Oops! Reading comprehension fail. My bad.
At some point, maybe the Mods will just move all non-2024 threads to "Older Editions".

Yes.Question 1: Can he use his Bonus action to Dash via Cunning Action?
For that combination, I would probably have it be an auto-success unless there was a good reason for someone to spot him. I might give a NPC with a strong sense of smell a Perception check at disadvantage.Question 2: Does he gain any benefit while attempting to Hide?
If someone is actively aware that there's an invisible gas moving around, then yes. Otherwise no.Question 3: Would he have to spent each round taking the Hide action if others Search for him?
No more than normal walking speed. (30' a round). Anything else and they'll generate a breeze. (I'm just making that up, but it feels OK.)Question 4: How fast can he move while trying to maintain stealth?
Yes. Just because it's not their walking speed doesn't mean they can't dash. Flying creatures can dash with their action too.Question 1: Can he use his Bonus action to Dash via Cunning Action?
RAW, no. IMO, I wouldn't require a character to hide in the first place, as they're virtually undetectable. Their movement would create a slight breeze, so in a confined location I might require a check with advantage, but overall I wouldn't bother.Question 2: Does he gain any benefit while attempting to Hide?
No. Once you are hidden, you remain hidden until you are spotted. This is partly why I don't ask for a Stealth roll until it matters.Question 3: Would he have to spent each round taking the Hide action if others Search for him?
There is no limit on speed while hiding.Question 4: How fast can he move while trying to maintain stealth?
