Ionian Dreams (Bront Judging)

(OOC: Well, for instance, even with 50 Dex and Jack of All Trades, you can't Balance without losing your Dex bonus unless you have the right number of ranks. This was how I was deciding if he already knew how to drive stick beforehand, you know? It's like if you found an alien vehicle and the party had an alien of that race with at least a rank in Pilot, I'd say he probably know how to pilot it ahead of time. Of course, anyone with Jack of All Trades or Pilot could give it a shot and make some checks, even if they don't know how to fly that alien vehicle.

Anyway, if nobody in the party already knows stick, which Steele did ask, then they rented the car out to you guys under 'Hugh Rowe'.)

OOC:Gremlin really doesn't drive because of his short stature. Didn't realize there were so many people out there who can't drive stick. :)

(OOC: The vast majority of Americans do not--hence, the ones who do would be the ones with ranks in Drive because anyone who respected driving enough to take ranks would definitely learn stick)

OOC: Well I drive a stick, but Griff doesn't. ;)

*The group finds the rental car, which is a large van, so chosen because Carrion has room if he squeezes into the sliding door and then crouches inside, even after he grows back, which has been uncomfortably and slowly occurring throughout the day. Their hotel, the Sheraton Ankara, is a fairly nice place, and it has internet access. They can stay there for now and drive out in the morning. Unfortunately, the local time is 5 AM.*

(OOC: Okay, I'm going to say that driving stick without a problem is a DC 10 Drive check. Highbrow can make this pretty easily, but I'm not going to let him take 10 due to not actually knowing stick, so it counts as stressful)

Cedrik will defenitly need rest, so he will take the morning to rest in his room. most likely, Carrion will be stuck there too. In the start of the afternoon, Cedric will join up to the research.

(OOC: The check-out time is 1 PM, which means that he can get a full 8 hours if he goes to sleep immediately and rushes out without a shower, etc. What is everyone else's plans for the moment? Everyone sleeping in? Shall I skip ahead?)

Carrion will get some sleep, which he does not especially need but enjoys. At full-size, does the hologram emitter still show him as a normal sized person? Even if it does, walking in a crowd will be very difficult.

(OOC: Nah, no ninjas unless you had flown in there without the airplane and raised all sorts of suspicion  Carrion--the device creatures illusions in a 100 foot range, but they can't cloak something in nothing and cancel the waveform to make things invisible. Thus, CPU can cover Carrion up, be has to cover him up with something that takes up the space

Let me know if anyone gets less than eight hours and does something in the interim. Also, any ideas for how to cover up Carrion with an illusion--hunch over and make him a horse? I dunno. )
