*Highbrow had accurately assessed the situation in his search--there is no trap. Looking down, Griff sees what seems to be a small unoccupied bunker, with food and ammunition stored in crates.*

"We miss the guys, but we've got something. Highbrow, I think that lady and gentlement have forgotten to told us something, maybe they will explain themselves now? Carrion and Gremlin might help you in the questionning if you I'll take a look at that cache with Griff." On that, Cedric enter teh bunker and starts to inspect.

"Carrion, what do you think? We gonna get a spot at the big boys table, or are we gonna get stuck in the back of the bus", Gremlin says with obvious frustration out of the side of his mouth.

Highbrow first gauges the reaction of the couple, noting respiration rate, expressions on thier face, perspiration, etc.. at their reaction to the trapdoor.

"Explain why this is here." he asks in thier language.

*They don't seem to care when he finds the trapdoor--they haven't been nervous since after the first minute when they weren't immediately murdered by the people who broke down the door with such force. If anything, the man is getting annoyed at the intrusion:*

"Please leave now. I'm an old man, and you broke my door. I'm going to have to fix that myself now, and you just walk around the house while we're trying to eat dinner. Do we need to get the authorities?"

OCC: Was there signs of a 3rd party living here?
Anything of interest in the bunker? I think we may need something to move the story along.

(OOC: There are enough bedrooms that it would be weird if there weren't more people living here. Nothing particularly interesting in the bunker other than what was already listed, no.

The other group that ran this adventure had somewhat similar capabilities to you guys, but I think their real advantages were the guy with X-Ray Vision and the guy with Mind-Reading and ESP. Does anyone have Inventor or Ritualist and want to try to jury-rig a useful power?)

OOC: Well if I have exhausted my array of mundane skills (investigate+10) to see if there are 3 toothbrushes stuff like that, personal effects for a younger man, etc etc, or dont find anything else in the house and bunker (search+20) I may try a Power Stunt using my Tactical Precog ability to make a Quantum Leap in deductive reasoning a la Mad Thinker. Making a Mind-reading device might be useful , and possible but seems kinda far-fetched storywise.

(OOC: There actually are not extra toothbrushes and the like, but to the best of Highbrow's analysis, that doesn't mean there weren't people living here--the beds appear to be slept in)

"Can you use you power over electricity to sense any odd power usage? Perhaps there is a power line that leads to another hidden area. Or perhaps with your Cyberpathy to sense any odd equipment?"
OOC: I know CPU has ESP through visual sensors and can follow inside powerlines like the Atom. Maybe something can be helpful there. Also if need be I can use my Luck Control to spend an HP on his behalf to use a power stunt.
