I think the Spellstoring Ring is totally too powerful as it is now.
I would like much more if it would cast the spells out of it as they are cast in it, BUT so that the spells would only be castable by the one who put them in the ring.
That way the caster would get extra 9 levels of spells to use, as effectively as his normal spells, but the groups barbarian could not cast meteor swarm from the ring.
My players have one of those rings and know what? The casters don't use it. Its on the groups barbarian/fighter. It is quite nice to have bunch of Shields and True strikes and Invis and Fly and such inside the ring. A fighter with 2h-sword is so much nicer when he has shield, mirror image, fly and invis at his disposal, anywhere, anytime.
I think if they find any more of those rings, the spells inside will be castable only by the one who put them inside the ring in the firstplace. (Of course, any caster can empty the ring, without casting the spells).
