ioun stones and invisibility

Do ioun stones turn invisible with you when you are using them and an invisibility spell is cast upon you?

An ioun stone is in your possession when you use one, so yes, it would turn invisible.

IIRC posessions within 5' of you are invisible. Although it is orbiting around your head, I would still declare the Ioun Stone a posession. Thus I think most people would agree that it would be invisible along with you.

I guess it depends on how much of a RBDM I'm feeling like...
