(IR) A request for help to the ENBoard

Hey there folks. Edena_of_Neith here.

I have a number of people who have expressed an interest in the World of Greyhawk campaign setting.

I want them to have a map of the world, and of the Flanaess.
Maps make a lot of things clear. A picture really is worth a thousand words, in this case.

I don't have URLs to sites with maps of Greyhawk.

Do you?
Could you go to the IR thread (it's on page one as I write this, and it's called: About the third IR, if it occurs.) and post any URLs you know there?
URLs of maps.
Maps of the world of Oerth.
Maps of the continent of Oerik.
Maps of the Flanaess, new and old.
Maps of the Greyhawk Area.
Maps, maps, any maps, any kind of maps, anything you have.

And, if you would, also put up any URLs you know that contain links to sites about Greyhawk, so they can look up the details of this interesting campaign setting - get the dirt on beings like Ivid, and the Greyhawk Wars, and Mordenkainen and the Circle of Eight.

This is a request. I know there are a lot of people out there who know their URLs; unfortunately, I don't have any.

The people I'm trying to get these URLs to won't look at this thread.
The URLs need to be posted on the thread: Concerning the third IR, if it occurs.
That's where they will look for such URLs.

For anyone who would do this, my gratitude.
The IR may be an utter failure, and no fun at all, but if people become interested in Greyhawk I think that would be a good thing.

For Greyhawk maps, try the Codex of Greyhawk website:

Click on 'Maps' (duh ) in his menu. This site isn't updated much anymore, but it contains a lot of material a newcomer to Greyhawk might find of interest.

Also, there is the Canonfire! site, run byu GH author Gary Holian.

Lot's more cool material (including articles by yours truly) and some more detailed maps of the "off the map" areas of Oerth by Greytalk list luminary Tal Meta.

As a side note to those getting ready for Edena's Greyhawk IR deal. I've read over Edena's introductory posts, and it looks pretty interesting, but it differs quite a bit from Greyhawk "canon". This, of course, is not a bad thing at all, but I point it out as more of a friendly warning that if your only experience with the setting is Edena's background, you might find some of the "canon" based material on those sites a bit strange, and you'll probably find some of the non-"canon" homebrew stuff by the fans, like myself and Tal Meta, downright bizarre.

Have fun though, I'm always interested in seeing new ideas for the setting myself, and I look forward to reading the Greyhawk IR as it unfolds for ideas.
