(IR) Concerning the third IR

Edena- What Power Level would Kalany be I want to try and get a decent grasp on what a point of PL represents and this seems to be a good way.

Kalanyr, the entire armed might of the nation of Furyondy, a large nation with over a million people, is 8.

The reason Kas has a rating of 4 is because, in order of most important to least important reasons:

His power to inspire his troops (a special case, with him and them)
His ability as a field commander
His carrying of the artifact The Sword of Kas
His Arcane Age magical items.
His extremely high level, way up there in the Epic region.

However, considering what you have said, and tried to do, and your many posts, it is reasonable to assume your PC is a very capable leader and militarist.
He is also fairly powerful, but that is minor.

Add 1 point to your PL for him.

KESH - The Yeomanry (neutral Oeridian humans), and Geoff (which neighbors the Yeomanry and has the same problems, so I am giving it to Kesh) (neutral Oeridian human)

POWER LEVEL OF THE YEOMANRY 4
POWER LEVEL OF GEOFF 5
TOTAL 9

Yay! :)

WILLIAM RONALD - Furyondy, Veluna, Keoland (neutral and good Oeridian humans, demihumans)

POWER LEVEL OF FURYONDY 7
POWER LEVEL OF VELUNA 5
POWER LEVEL OF KEOLAND 8
TOTAL 20

Oh crap... my next door neighbors are twice my power. Luckily we're all on the side of Oerth... right? Right? ;)

Heh, Kesh, LOL.

Historically, your powerful neighbors have conquered the nations you represent.
Keoland has always been expansionist, and only relatively recently has gone quiet.

Now, though, I take it the Yeomanry and Geoff have nothing to say concerning the Sending of the Wanderer?

Hm? To what are you referring? Like I said, I need to get my books and make sure I've got the info on those two countries before making an IC post. And 'sides, didn't you say it won't begin unti mid-February?

I was referring to the new IR post on the ENBoard I just put up.

I was going to wait until mid-February, but I dare not do it now.

The people at Comcast have created such a mess that I was not able to get my e-mail changed.
This was supposed to happen on December 19th, then on January 7th, then on January 15th, then February 15th.

The problem is, I think they may just decide to cut me off.
They'll say, it's because I don't have the new e-mail.
When I complain they never gave me the chance to get a new e-mail, they comment that they did give me the chance repeatedly.
When I comment that they told me, at the last moment, to stop, each time, they say that they were having problems, and that I must excuse them.

For you see, the above has already happened once.

So, I decided to begin on February the 1st.
It seemed like a neat date. A good way to kick off the month of February (considering how January went out, good riddance to it. We were buried alive in snow and freezing rain, with considerable property damage.)

Please excuse this change in timing, if you would.
Take your time, and read through the material. There's no rush.

Argh. Well, I won't be able to do anything until at least Monday evening at the earliest. If you must keep things going over the weekend, then the Yeomanry League and Geoff are keeping unusually quiet. The only statement they have issued is that the respective government of each nation is considering the information they have recieved and will act in an appropriate manner when its truth can be verified.

That's fine.
Please, take your time.
Get the books and read them. Greyhawk is a good read, IMHO.
There is a GREAT DEAL of online material about Greyhawk. One of these, Ivid the Undying, is a huge online supplement, and there are many others.

Also, William is telling me about new places even I didn't know about.
When I get the scoop on them, I'll throw them open for any takers (heh, and then if someone decides to attack you, and you control one of these additional nations, they might be in for a nasty surprise.)

Edena:

I am a little puzzled that the Touv and the Olman from the Scarlet Brotherhood Supplement by Sean K. Reynolds are include in the Scarlet Brotherhood camp. In an area near Hepmonaland, there was a large island with Touv and Olman cultures. I seem to recall that they were opposed to the Scarlet Brotherhood. (Possibly no need to change the Brotherhood's strength even if they are. The supplement mentioned attempts at genetically engineering slave races. Possibly the Scarlet Brotherhood had some success with it.)

I have to call a friend who may have a copy of the book, but you might be able to get it off of the WoTC site. Or check with TalonComics.

I am going to logoff soon. Edena, I think this thread will work out. Again, if anyone is reading this thread or the Wanderer thread, please consider taking part in the new IR thread.
