Iron Kingdom Setting news?

IK is finally coming out <jump for joy....ooow....string of curses>, is my back really that bad, shoot have I really gotten that old waiting for this book. But I'll get it as soon as I can. Though living at the South end of Hades (Texas ya'll), will mean It will come very slow, aagh more waiting.

Weren't most of the Warcraft games delayed this long? I am unable to comprehend the idea of a "choice" between Eberron and IK.
Exactly; those are two of the products that I've been most anticipating for 2004.

Although I currently don't have either. Darned restricted cash flow problems at the moment. Well, not problems; we just have vacation coming up in a few weeks, and it's gonna cost. ;) RPGs come after that.

Texas is a far cry from Hades. Trust me, I grew up in Texas and now live in Detroit. Texas is the blessed fields of Elysium compared to Detroit. :p

Although summer in Michigan vs summer in Texas is where the comparison does begin to break down a bit...

It sounds to me like once this book and the other IK setting book coming are released, the floodgates will open. They've been working on a lot of IK products concurrently and have been held up waiting for these two to drop first.

I kind of like the wait. It makes it easy to manage the setting if you only need to buy supplements a couple times a year or less often.

Well... I have my money, with is finite in amount, and I must 'choose' to either spend it on one cool looking setting (Eberron) or another cool looking setting (IK). It's a rather simple idea really.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. Given the conditions that Ebberron is out, IK is out, and I have some cash, IK is so clearly the winner that I do not even have to think about which one to get. This is still a choice; saying that there was no choice was an exageration. I am almost definately not getting Ebberron; I'm going to have to start paying for insurance soon, and tuition and books.

Well then I guess we're in simple disagreement. Both settings look equally good (for differing reasons).
