I was just looking over your newly revised character sheet and have a few comments.

With an 18 Int you should have 4 bonus languages, as you currently only have 2 (Khadoran and written Ordic). Pick two more from the following list: Caspian, Khurzic, or Llaelese. That also means that you can either pick a different language for your rank in Speak Languages, or apply the skill point to a different skill.

I was just looking over the LM and discovered that they forgot to detail the Craft Accumulator feat. Sheesh! That's some major typo. I would recommend switching Craft Accumulator for Craft Wondrous Item. That feat is still necessary for constructing any kind of mechanika (in addition to Etch Rune Plate). I'm house-ruling that you don't need the Craft Accumulator feat at all, and just modify the rule for creating accumulators from p. 326 of the IKCG. Just replace the Scribe Scroll feat on that page for the Etch Rune Plate feat. Actually, I just realized that you can't create an accumulator feat yet anyway, as the minimum caster level is 5th.

The group might also want to consider pooling their leftover money and buying a arcane condenser. Since you're a Union man you could get it for 2250 gp. Definitely worth the purchase if anyone in the group is thinking about using mechanika.

In your Spells section, you'll need to change your "spells/day" to 4/3/2. You never get bonus 0-level spells. It's not mentioned explicitly, but it's true for all the other spellcasting classes.
Also, they include the following in LM.

In addition, you can also pay to copy spells from fellow arcane mechanic's spellbooks. The process is as outlined on p. 179 of the PHB 3.5:
Spellcraft check (DC 15 + spell's level) to understand it. If this skill check fails you have to wait until you gain another rank in Spellcraft to try it again.
Spell Level x 50 gp as a fee to copy the spell.
Spell Level X 100 gp in materials to copy the spell into your Liber Mechanika.

As for your +1 Mechanikal Light Crossbow, remember that you are a Union man. Prices should be as follows:

335 gp Masterwork light crossbow (no discount as it's not mechanika)
225 gp +1 Weapon Conduit
900 gp +1 Weapon Runeplate
150 gp Trickle Socket

OK, I've made the adjustments as noted above. I can't believe I forgot the mechanika discount for being in the Union. With the discount to the crossbow parts and the condenser I had just enough to get one by myself. I removed 2 0-level spells and added 2 1-level spells, that's changed from the IKCG too. I added two languages and moved the skill point over to Search. Craft Accumulator got replaced with Craft Wonderous Item.

So it doesn't seem that we're getting any more interest in the game from new folks, and the people who first expressed interest no longer seem to be. Would you all be willing to play with just 4 PCs?

Description: Marthasa is a thin, frail looking woman with long, raven-black hair tied up into a braid.

Background: Raised in an aristocratic family, Marthasa heard the calling of Morrow early in her life. She joined the priesthood, much to her family's disappointment, and set out to learn the healing arts and aid all those who would be in need. She was asked by her priesthood to journey the land and further Morrow's cause. Her brother, instead of a gift, taught her what he felt was the most skill of all; proficiency in firearms. She is proud of her heritage though she is frequently scorned. She frequently takes her warhorse Morningstar on long rides through the country, just to get away from humanity and all their petty squabbles.
 


Just came across this thread and I would also be interested. I think I could get a character together in a couple of days if you want space for one more. Somewhat familiar with the setting but have never played before.

Horluk Firetongue - Trollkin Sorcerer? (possible Fell Caller)

Ok so here is an idea for a Trollkin Sorcerer I am contemplating.

(Hope I get some of this info right have to had a chance to thoroughly read the book.)

Obviously he was gifted at birth by being able to channel magical energies with just a thought. His family became well respected and honored members of the tribe. For some reason everything seemed to be going extremely well for his lineage and his tribe and the tribe grew to be one of the more prominent tribes with the trollkin society. Then one day when he was off to the nearest city conversing with the rulers of said city the Cryxian started their stupid wars and decimated his tribe as they were in the way.

His travels of revenge and adventure have now brought him to Cygnar where he is now looking for help on avenging his lineage.


I will post more when I get a chance to do some more reading, otherwise what do you think? If this guy is not acceptable I will play a Trollkin Fell Caller. Actually I will be happy with either one so I leave it up to you to decide :D
