A trollkin sorcerer is fine, Elocin and would probably be fun to roleplay, as they are held in such high esteem by their fellow trollkin. Your tribe would have probably been near the coast, as that is where most of the Cryxian attacks have occured. The forces of the Lord of Dragons don't really care whom they kill. Trollkin make lovely thrall warriors! :]

Sorry, I had forgotten that you had been wanting those skills.

All of the skills you have requested are cross-class, which means that an attempt to gain 1 rank in Appraise takes 2 weeks (and 50 gp), and an attempt to gain 1 rank in the Knowledge skills takes 2 months (and 800 gp). Also the first rank in Appraise will require a DC 10 + 1 (skill rank) + 2 (first rank in a new, untrained skill) – 1 (fairly easy skill) = 12 Appraise check, while the first rank in the Knowledge skills will require a DC 10 + 1 (skill rank) + 4 (first rank in a new, trained only skill) = 15 skill check.

Do you still want to do this? The only way to make all of this cheaper and easier would be if you were to take the University Education feat, which would make all Knowledge skill class skills.

I'll go for it. I don't plan on buying anything mechanikal or magical, so I have gold to burn. Leave me 2,000 gp for gear, that leaves 3,400 to spend on skills. Was that 800gp per skill, or for all of them? I'll spend as much of that 3,400 as needed to get ranks in each.

For the Knowledge skills it's 800 per skill rank, and it's not even guaranteed. Just want to make sure as that's a lot of money to be handing out.
 

Boosted her to 4th level. Not sure what to spend the 2,700gp on though. I can't remember but std magical items are in IK? (Ring of protection etc) Let me know. :) Sorry I only have Lock and Load.

In that case, go for a single rank in...

Knowledge (local- Llael)
Knowledge (nobility and royalty)
Knowledge (history)
Knowledge (religion)

In that order of importance. If I fail, try again, if I get it, go to the next skill. Send up to 3200gp on knowledges, and 200 on Appraise if needed.

Is there a version of the Mithril shirt in the IK? I would to have a special custom set of duelling armor with the same price and stats. Beside that, all I need is some little stuff and a MW rapier and dagger. Hopefull I'll have some coin left for healing salves...
 

As this is my first IK game I think I will go with the Sorcerer as I know them best and I do not want to burden my mind with learning a new setting/rules and the like plus a new character class.

When would you like me to have one stated out?

There are quite a few alchemical items that are listed in the newer books, many of which have to do with healing. Let me know if you'd like me to list some of them.

In addition, you can scribe scroll yourself pretty easily, you might want to put some of your money towards that. Don't worry about the XP as we're starting everyone at 8,000 XP, rather than 10,000. That should give you plenty to work around. Just remember that all GP and XP costs for creating magic items in IK are at 150%.
