Iron Kingdoms Game (OOC)

I like the troubleshooters and business ideas. Both could work really well. The Strangelight Workshop part sounds fun. Do you have Doug's notes on it from the PP website?

All four ideas would work, though I like 2, 3, & 4 more than 1. I've been thinking about where Aleksei would work in Ceryl, so 3 would work well for that or 2 or 4 if they're on retainer. Living "hoard to hoard"(TM) is something I'd like to avoid. What would it cost to have a light warjack or augmented workjack? That might be a good investment for the group if we go with #3. Nothing says "Secure!" like a couple of tons of fire, steel, and gears.

Hmmm, a 'jack, eh? Well, let's see according to the IKCG you could get a light labor 'jack starting at 16,000 gp. I think that may be a bit out of your price range at the moment, unless you come into a big boat of money ... or could manage to steal one.

Of the two options that currently seem the most popular (2 and 4) I would probably go with 4. Of the options there I would think it might be fun for you to work for the FOW, only because they're old and stuff and rich, and probably are into some pretty weird stuff. Then again, the Strangelight Workshop is pretty much tailor-made for "adventuring," with its focues on the strangely arcane and bizarre. Is an X-Files/Ghostbusters type game something you could get behind? If so, people might want to reconsider their skill choices a bit, to fit that line of business a bit more.

What do IK monster hunters need in terms of skills? I'm not talking about the prestige class from MN1 here, mind you.
