(I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum - putting it here was my best guess.)
So, the long-anticipated sequel to (IMHO) the best d20 monster books has finally arrived. If you liked the first volume, I can only recommend the second one - from what I've seen so far, I like this book even better than its predecessor. It's basically a mixed monster resource / setting book, featuring:
- A foldout, full-color map of Immoren, including the Skorne empire
- Lots and lots of new creatures (finally we get stats for all those HORDES beasts!)
- A whole slew of unique new dragons and giants - the pictures alone make me want to spring these on my players
. Realistically, though: they'll work better as background characters than combat encounters, given their high CR.
- Three new Skorne-only classes (paingiver, mortitheurge, extoller)
- History of the Skorne Empire; extensive information on culture and equipment
- New Pendrake fiction
I'm sure I haven't listed everything there is
. If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to ask them. I'm a little busy, but I'll try to get back to you ASAP.
