Iron Kingdoms world book ships!!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

I am a happy man.

I do think that the Alchemist NPC class and the Exemplar are going to be in it, so there'll be at least a little crunch.

Cool! In a few months, after reading the book (Privateer makes thick setting books if the Character Guide is any indication) I can dust off the Iron Kindoms campaign that has been gathering dust while I wait for this.

Guess warlord's not interested if there's no power-ups for his character. :uhoh:

C'mon. Does new rules always have to be about power-ups? For me, a nice PrC or feat here and there help define the world. Surely there should be some in a world as different from the standard D&D as Iron Kingdoms?

Or was that just ridiculing the view that differs from yours? :\

The thing is that there is already a crunch book for Iron Kingdoms, complete with PrCs and feats. The two were intended to be a single book, but the project snowballed a wee bit... So they split crunch and fluff into seperate books.

Considering the number of Savage Worlds players I have heard express interest in converting IK there are at least some people likely to be happy that it is a seperate book.

As was said, from the Character Guide there's already a whole ton of crunch available for IK campaigns. I can't remember the page count, but I've gotta think there was at least a PHB+ worth of rules in there. Then when you allow that there's a revised Monsternomicon coming out and the equipment guide (Lock and Load?), I'd imagine that any more rules would get pretty close to making my brain explode.

And in any case, hooray for fluff. It's both a rulebook and a novel.

Well, after many delays, some of them not even my fault, I've finally managed to get my review of the Character Guide into the database.

And I believe that there is going to be some crunch in it.

Anyone know if they've put up a table of contents or other previews?

They've got a chapter two preview here.
There's not much there (and it's all fluff), but it might give an idea of what to expect.

Joe, you didn't talk about the Bodger in your review, which was one of the things in the book that I was most torn about. I loved the feel of the class but the mechanics seemed difficult to unworkable. I was wondering if you (or anyone else here) had any advice on how to run a Bodger.

This is going to rock! I started my campaign three weeks ago and this will only make thinge better.

As far as having little or no crunch, well, the first book was filled with it so I am happy to see something more on the 'fluff' side.
