Doesn't look to be a product per se. Near as I can tell, Legendology is a cyberzine, publishing short fiction by WotC's various authors, set in various WotC settings. "Irreverents" appears to a tongue-in-cheek series, about a group of deities, though it doesn't appear to be set in any of the existing WotC settings.
If anything, Legendology looks to be a spin-off from WotC's book division, rather than the RPG division.
This is the press release for it, off of the WotC boards:

LEGENDS COME ALIVE WITH LEGENDOLOGY
Wizards of the Coast Set to Debut New Literary Adventure this August
August 10, 2005 (Renton, Wash.) – Coming this month Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE: HAS), presents LEGENDOLOGY ™ (legendology.com), a new media venture designed to chronicle and expand the iconic worlds of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ®, MAGIC: THE GATHERING ®, HECATOMB ™ and more. The newly launching cyberzine from the world leader in hobby gaming will debut with short fiction from some of Wizards’ classic game settings, plus the groundbreaking new world of IRREVERENTS ™. Penned by veteran writers such as Ed Greenwood, the stories will be illustrated with originally commissioned and vintage art, taking form in 16,000-word, serially published, novelettes.
“LEGENDOLOGY will provide a home for classic tales and new traditions in the rich storylines that form the basis for Wizards’ iconic game worlds,” said Andrew Finch, Director of New Business R&D at Wizards of the Coast. “As well, it will allow us to ‘test the waters’ with new universes, permitting fans a first-of-its-kind sneak peak into the creative process.”
Wizards of the Coast is no stranger to cutting-edge speculative fiction. The company’s book division has published over thirty New York Times bestsellers while Wizards’ iconic magazine Amazing Stories has, during its eighty year history, featured the likes of Edgar Allen Poe, H.G. Wells, Jules Verne and countless others. LEGENDOLOGY will capitalize on this rich tradition by providing a continually expanding repository of new story concepts and artwork for Wizards of the Coast’s iconic phantasmagory.
“Themes of the fantastic have a special resonance right now, reflected in the popularity of multi-platform entertainment properties such as The Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia,” noted Finch. “LEGENDOLOGY will help us capture the hearts and minds of new readers.”
