Is anyone else timing out attempting to hit EN World?

Howdy!

I try and I try, but I can't seem to get a successful connection to EN World before 2 PM PST on any given week day. Is the site particularly hammered between 10 AM and 2 PM PST or is The World thwarting my attempts to avoid work?

Just wanna know if I'm alone in this regard.

It did seem to get "hammered" this afternoon for a good long stretch, so it's not just you.

Forum sluggishness

I was having some difficulty trying to read the forums earlier today. Page load times of 3-5 minutes were typical -- and I've got cable modem. Is there a setting somewhere I need to tweak? I'm using Netscape 7.x under Windows XP Home.

You're not alone, I have the same problem sometimes as well. And it's a little pokey tonight.

(Also have a cable modem and can hit other sites at the same time just fine.)
