Is anyone taking 'prestige' racial levels from Un.Arc?

Same question as the header: Anyone taking prestige class racial levels as outlined in Unearthed Arcana? If so, how's it workin' for ya? And if not, why?

Yes, paragon classes are seeing use in my Dark Sun game, but not the ones from UA. We are using DS-specific paragon classes and a couple of players have used them (specifically Mul Paragon and Pterran Paragon). They seem popular, especially the stat boosts, and I would certainly devise paragon classes for any other setting that I used. For my homebrew, for example, I intend to write up some paragon classes for that setting's races.

I've seen Racial Paragon Levels get some use.

It's one easy way to give core races an ECL, like if a DM wants elves in his setting to be more Tolkienesque and "greater", then he can say that elves must start with all 3 racial levels, so they are effectively ECL+3.

I have a half-elf paladin who took the three levels of half-elf paragon - and I'm glad I did it. Gave me another feat, a stat boost, and some more versitility in skills.

Prestige racial levels are a concept in Wildwood by bastion press. There are no prestige racial levels in Unearthed Arcana. ;)

As for paragon levels, they are part of a tool I use to make long lived races like elves and dwarves make more sense in my game. Most such NPCs of such races have a a few racial levels to repesent their racial flavor and competance of their years.

Oh yeah, the Dwarven Paragon racial levels have seen a lot of use in my games. They're quite popular and with good reason. I think they're great.

Cute. A prestige class accessible only by racial prerequisite is, indeed, a racial prestige, *formally* titled as such or not.

Nice idea. I hadn't considered race levels as an ECL equalizer.
