Is Dark Portal Games still around?

First Post
I was at the hobby store the other day and saw an intersting adventure,
Enigma of Arcanexus. This was for a "new campaign world" Arekoz- whioch sounded cool. But it was do out in Jan-2002 and now their website seems to be defunct.

Any news?

I just spoke with Patric recently and apparently they are around and have a rather large number of products coming down the pike. I have no idea where the website is or when (or if) the new products will be released.

Even if you don't use the adventure in the Arekoz setting, its easily reworked to stand alone and can really be set in any campaign world. I put quite a bit of work into making sure that it fits easily with generic D&D, and the chapters are also very modular - so much so that you can toss the premise and use the locations for your own purposes.

Tony Bounds, of DPG, re-surfaced not too long ago and announced that he was still around, DPG was still alive, and that he registered the domain: darkportalgames.biz

That site USED to come up, but is now down.
I know their forums at Mortality haven't been touched by ANY DPG person in a long time.

So, from this point on, no clue.

I did some work for DPG, and since nothing seemed to be happening with it I e-mailed Patric (one of the two guys in charge), who said he *also* hadn't heard from Tony (the real guy in charge) in a long time. Patric said he himself didn't know the status of DPG - whether it was still alive or not. He said he'd get back to me... this was about 10 days ago.

I would love to see the Arekoz setting. Even if it is not free. Sounded pretty cool. And thanks for the info on Module- I will definetly go pick it up now.
