Is Detwiler's GODLIKE WWII game going to be published?

Nope

Last word, I think on Friday, was that there are 8 tons of books sitting on a custom's dock in Oakland, CA. The Pagan guys are hoping it will move by this weekend, but it's out of their hands. They're very frustrated by this...

The review copies that some folks got are unpressed (so the pages are not 100% flat) and the cover didn't get the glossy treatment.

You can, however, read a review here:

In the meantime you can go to the website and give the game's system a drive:

Man... Where the heck was this printed, Tailand?

At the rate it's sounding like it's not going to hit stores until the week Call of Cthulhu d20 is going to be released. Two 40 dollar hard covers in one week is going to be painful!
Btw, has anyone seen a logo for Hobgoblin Press? I can't find one anywhere. :/

I'm still taking pre-orders for Godlike at:

Latest

Ok.. latest news:

Customs has told Pagan/Hobgoblynn that the book will be released next Wednesday. It then is going to Wizard's Attic, in the same city as the custom's dock (Oakland, I believe).

The book, btw, was printed in China. The owner of Hobgoblynn has some connections with China, being as he's Chinese (or at least of Chinese descent).

So, if all goes well, from Wizard's Attic it will filter into the distribution chain, going from distributor to game store and so on.

I'd say it will come out roughly around the same time as Cthulhu d20, maybe a tiny bit sooner.

But I'm patient... this looks like it will be a great game.
