is DIVINE SACRIFICE stackable ?!!!

lately i joined some party... and as DM i was little confused because they stacks divine sacrifice, is it legal ? if yes it's horror!

One spell divine sacrifice can strake damn much damage in single blow.

party has 3 paladins 1 cleric and 1rogue.
tactic:
paladins scan through door if there is powerful enemy, if yes they start casting divine sacrifice, in 1st round they sacrifice 10hp to gain 5d6 damage to _first_successful_strike_ (even if u need to wait till end of spell's duration), in second round they sacrifice next 10hp to gain next 5d6 damage and so on, in the tine when paladins prepare to combat cleric heals them, and rogue is trying to solve the door's lock.

now imagine paladin with rod of presistance spall (i hope it's correct name), and ring of sustenance, he can prepare the spell for eg. 15h, now count on your own damage.... i think it's sick or it's some misunderstanding of rules.

plz help with clarification of the spell... or maybe it's stacking the spell is legal ?

I believe that you can't use divine sacrifice to inflict more than +5d6 damage on a single attack.

Hehe. Yeah.

I remember this same kind of horrified panic when people started trying to get away with casting two shield spells to give themselves 360 degree protection.

It's very clear what the intent of the Divine Sacrifice spell is.
Once per round, you may sacrifice up to 10 hp to do +1d6 per 2 hp's sacrificed.
This ends when you successfully attack.
Why would they think you can burn 10 more the next round?
