Is DMing its own reward?

For what sounds like an amazing campaign that makes me jealous. Do you have a writeup anywhere?

I do keep logs of every session, as well as a detailed story of everyhing that happened, and chronology.
However it is all in italian :(
You can google translate the site i gave in my post, if you are interested, but the quality will not be great.

GMing Rewards

I keep hearing stories about campaigns that have run 3, 5, 15, 20+ years and I get jealous. I've never successfully run one longer than about a year. Not because of problems at the table -- more due to player attrition than anything else. We lived in a college town. People graduated, got married, had families, moved away or other such Real Life issues.

But I still love running. I just started planning for game to run about year with a definite beginning, middle, and end.

The best reward I get as a GM is when I have a waiting list of people trying to get into my games.

Saw that after I posted the experience points to you. I am going to read your writeup via the translator.
