Is Forgotten realms SRD?

Ah. The reason I asked is that I recently purchased several of thier products on eBay and my interest was piqued. Thanks for the response.

(The FFE incident was mostly from the MM2 iirc. They didn't look closely at the license. Also was trouble with using the name draWmiJ, which Jim Ward didn't think to realize that his name was owned by someone else.)

Incidentally I play mostly over the internet these days and the lack of OGC is what keeps me from buying wizards stuff. I am very annoyed that I can't put it all together online if it's from wizards. So instead I go all third party. I used to be a complete realms fan, but I haven't bought a single FR 3rd edition book. Anyone else think this is a problem?

Man, that would really suck to have your name owned by someone else... and all for a couple of spells. They could have at least just dropped his name from the spell titles and other references like they pretty much did with most of the other 'named' spells. I guess they were just being difficult. I'm not too familiar with OGC so I can't really comment there...

IIRC, the big thing with Fast Forward was one book that contained like 30 monsters from the MM2 (their explanation was basically: "We saw that it had the OGL in it and assumed it was all OGC, not just those two monsters"), but there were also a couple of books where they used non-OGC in a less blatant manner, like referring to Lolth or Gruumsh. The name Drawmij was also mentioned, but Jim Ward mentioned something about considering that name his, and being willing to fight over it.
