Is Glammered armor only effective against vision?

Does a glammered suit of armor trick any other senses or just sight? Because if a glammered set of full plate look like a tunic but still feels and clanks like cold metal it won't be very good at duping anyone unless they're out of earshot. Thanks!

As per the SRD: "A suit of armor with this ability appears normal. Upon command, the armor changes shape and form to assume the appearance of a normal set of clothing. The armor retains all its properties (including weight) when glamered. Only a true seeing spell or similar magic reveals the true nature of the armor when disguised."

Considering it's armor check penalty, weight, AC bonus, hardness, etc all don't change, then yes it is clearly visual only.

The answer is in your question "Only a true seeing spell or similar magic reveals the true nature of the armor when disguised." You can't tell it's armor by the way it sounds.

Excellent question. The rules say:
"Glamer
A glamer spell changes a subject’s sensory qualities, making it look, feel, taste, smell, or sound like something else"

... but this does not mean that all glamers do all of the above.

Indeed Disguise Self (the prerequisite for making Glamered armor) says:
"The spell does not provide the abilities or mannerisms of the chosen form, nor does it alter the perceived tactile (touch) or audible (sound) properties of you or your equipment."

Since the armor ability says it assumes "the appearance of a normal set of clothing" and "retains all its properties (including weight) when glamered", I've got to think it behaves similarly to Disguise Self in this respect. ymmv.
