The colour is fine, if a bit washed-out, and as far as I can tell, the font size is the same as before. What's getting to me is having to do a forced refresh (Ctrl-F5) on every page.

Can anyone else access their User CP? I just get a blank black page when I try. Must. Turn. Off. Underlining.

On the other hand, I really really like being able to Bold, Italic, whatever, within the body of the message. Now if I could just actually see those icons instead of the black splotch that's there now.

Hopefully, the themes will return as an option at some point. I really can't stand light text on a dark background, and I liked being able to reverse that with one of the themes that used to be available.

The text and background colours seem pretty much the same to me. There does seem to be more shades of grey used in the threads (ie, the line between posts) that break up the page a bit.

The ugly purple bruises that have sprouted everywhere (the "general" icons) scare me. And I have just seen the list of other message icons and that is even more scary (as well as fuzzy). I might have to use the one before poly because its the least offensive and unintelligable @_@

I strongly dislike the "General" icon. Throws off the whole color scheme. Everything's so soft and mellow except these ubiquitous bright purple and yellow tags all over the screen!

But hey, that's just my opinion.

I'm not so bugged by the color scheme overall, but when editing or creating a message, the new editing controls (beneath the Color and Font pull-down mneus) are asically black on black, and are thus almost unreadable. They also don't have rollover text, so I have no idea what half of them do in a messageboard context.

Also, the boards are super-sluggish for me right now, 10:30am CST. I usually don't notice this kind of slowdown until around noon.

I dunno. I was happy with the old boards.
