And 4e had channel divinity.

4e came out in 2008.
PF came out in 2009.

You should have been mad at Pathfinder for stealing that from D&D. Along with, you know, everything else.

4E is D&D?

The Sorceror having a draconic theme started already with 3E. There was, to my knowledge, no sorceror before then.
Channel Divinity was something designed for 4E, and seems a kind of logical consequence of Turn Undead and Divine Channeling. Both having this idea of somehow using positive or holy energy to achieve some special effect... One may wonder why they still exist if Clerics already can cast spells...
