Is it just me? Tired of huge books

But seriously, yeah. The PF core book, IIRC, was so big I didn’t even look at the system for a couple years after it came out.

It's not just you. I'd like more games to come in a smaller size and be paperback.

I wish wotc would put out softcover books for 5e like they did for Essentials. Just novel sized books broken into a Rules Compendium, and player books, each the size and length of a normal novel.

It's certainly easier for me to carry around my Savage Worlds rules than any D&D or Pathfinder stuff I have owned.

I've come full circle I guess. From feeling the love for Moldvay Basic when that came out (and having to lug the 1e books around in my schoolbag every day because I was GM.) to loving the all in one book solutions (RC, Star Wars 2e R&E, Hero System 5e etc) and these days being somewhat intimidated by bullet stopping tomes so that I will print PDFs and put them into byte size chunks from now on (to self print/bind). Also have an issue with tiny fonts. I think I'm just getting old n cranky.

I like big thick hardcovers with gorgeous art. I also appreciate little zines. I have too many of both and need more shelves.

I prefer larger books that include a setting and one or two starting adventures.
