Fighters or thieves. If you wanted to be a caster, all you actually could fit on the index card beyond first level was the <em>names</em> of your spells and the page references. This is not your character - merely pointers.</p><p> </p><p>In 4e you can write an Essentials fighter or Elementalist Sorceror on one side of an index card. A thief might take both sides - and I could probably manage most characters on that (most powers take about half a line each). (And it's one hell of a more usable format than the official character sheets for these classes).</p></blockquote><p></p>
