Is prep time "gaming?"

But, the initial question itself is a semantics question. I could pull up the definition of "semantic" and further qualify my statements, but somehow I don't think you would like that. In any case, unless you just want a "yes" or "no" with no real substance behind anyone's reasoning, this is a thread to discuss the meaning of the word "gaming" and so it is, by definition, a semantics discussion.

Prep is part of the gaming hobby for me. Yes, playing is the end goal. However, creating adventures, painting miniatures, making scenery, and designing game aids are parts of the hobby I enjoy.
