Afraid not, CH. The messaging feature, as well as search and custom user titles, are some of the benefits of being an ENWorld Community Supporter. The site is free to access and use, but the "perks" are for those who contribute to the site's overhead in terms of being up and running. It's USD 35.00 to buy a CSA, and if you want to purchase an individual feature (such as private messaging) in your accounts profile there should be a link for purchasing features individually. (It's under the "paid subscriptions" link.)
