D&D 3E/3.5 Is there a 3.5 MM2 available?

My characters' 17th level group is pretty much dishing out the hurt to most monsters I have them face so far. I am worried that putting them up against Demons and Dragons for the next 4 levels will get wearisome quickly. Any higher level (but not CR 55 Epic stuff please) 3.5 monster collections out there?

The Book of Fiends (Green Ronin) would feature some devils too, so you don't need to use only demons ;)
As far as I know they're upgrading the fiends to 3.5.

And fighting fiends only won't be much of a stretch if you send your players to hell...

Beside other books (which do certainly exist, but I can't think of a single one especially for 3.5 right now), why not upgrade the monsters you've got? More HD, templates, class levels, ... there's work involved here, but IMHO it's worthwile.

There is no 3.5 MM2 (or FF, for that matter), but the 3.5 Update Guide (available Free as a PDF at the WotC site) has the conversion information for the MM2, FF, DDG, ELH, and MoP. There is a LONG list of MM2 monster "updates" (FF was closer to 3.5 anyway, and did not need as much), and another for ELH monsters.

Or do what I do. Use strategy. :) Make them fight smarter, get better equipment. Maybe some orcs have hired a wizard and he's been making them magical weapons, items, etc.

Give monsters character levels. I'd bet a Ftr5 Hill Giant with Cleave and Power Attack could do quite a bit of damage. (Cleave, anyone? Weapon Focus/Specialization?)

I play in one group where the DM always gets frustrated around level 14, and stops playing, because we kill everything. (old red dragon from alive to dead in 2 rounds .. tho admittedly we were ready for him in an enclosed space where he couldn't maneuver well... but I digress..)

He always wants "bigger and better" monsters. But there can't be legions of devils stalking the world all the time. So you have to make do with smaller ones, but buff them.

Dungeon + Traps + Kobolds armed with Tactics, Greek Fire and Crossbows = Fun. :)

What he said!

Tactics are always more interesting than raw power anyway.

Tactics are what allowed the German army, with far inferior tanks to the french and Russians, to nevertheless soundly defeat both very quickly in battle.

Of course, that takes a lot of work, and can be a challenge to set up properly, but when executed well, it is very rewarding - it allows the players to try and win using tactics and intelligent moves of their own instead of it just coming down to raw power.

Creature Collection III is 3.5 and reportedly has a number of higher CR creatures (one third are 13+). In the general forum there is a thread I started about it being released and somebody posted the creatures with their CRs. Worth checking out.
