Is there a Feat..

Covering your tracks works this way in 3.5 : party states it does, moves at half-speed, doesn't need any skill, feat or check, and tracking DC climbs 5 points.

There's no way I'd make one of my players waste a feat on that ability.

If they have the Track feat, they can use it to make an opposed check to make themselves harder to track.

It's a +5 bonus to the DC to follow your tracks, if using the half-speed option it increases to +10, plus it gives you +2 to hide. Not that bad.

What kind of logic is that? Weapon Focus only gives you a +1 bonus; easily surpassable with a low-level spell. Same with Dodge.

It looks like a very decent feat to me, provided you're having troubles with people following you.

Agreed, depending on the game. In a low-magic setting, I can see it being useful. In standard high-magic settings, players might be more inclined to rely on spells or items to do the same thing.
