Is there a "fire-dancer" class anywhere?

I'm pretty certain there's no class like this in any Paizo products, so I'm throwing this out to the third-party community.

A player in my Pathfinder game has recently been inspired to play a "fire-dancer." He doesn't have any mechanical abilities in mind; it's all thematic - a class or prestige class based around dancing and controlling fire by doing so.

Now, I can find fire-related classes without too much trouble. A class based around dancing is harder, but doable (though I may have to reach back to 3.5). But one that has both dancing and fire...I'm scratching my head on this one.

Does anybody know of a class or prestige class like this?

Have a look at the Dawnflower Dervish of Saranrae from Wayfinder 1 (free download from here paizo.com - Wayfinder #1 (OGL) PDF).

It covers the dancing part, and as Saranrae has fire as one of her domains the core of something is there. It looks like it was written for 3.5 rather than PF so I'd suggest something like swapping out the pre-requisite of Turn Undead for Elemental Channel (Fire) if you convert it.

Some ideas off the top of my head:

  1. Reflavor the Shadowdancer PrCl
  2. Gestalt or multiclass Bard with some kind of class that works with fire a lot- Wu Jen, Sorcerer, Wilder, Psion, etc.
  3. Sticking with Bard, check out other 3.X products for feats that add fire damage to spells. I believe there is one in Monte Cook's AU/AE. If not, you could probably reflavor one of the bloodline/metamagic/reserve feats from PHB2, Complete Arcane or Complete Mage.

You might also look at variant classes, like the Druidic Bard. That might have more access to "fire" spells.

What about the Dragonfire Inspiration feat? Just use Dance as your perform skill and inspire everyone to add +xd6 fire damage to their attacks. :)

Also possibly consider re-flavoring Snowflake Wardance feat.
