Is there a Monk version/variant of the Psyhic Warrior?

If i do go PW and Monk how does BAB and Flurry of blows stack?
The BAB from the two classes adds together. As do the save bonuses. Flurry is a monk class feature, so your levels in other classes don't count towards advancing it.

... which is one of the reasons why my monk will be going to at least monk 11 before going PsyWar was to get the maximum Flurry of Blows benefit (two extra attacks at full BAB, no penalties to hit). The BAB just stacks as Spatula says

You could always stick as a straight monk but take the "wild talent" feat which gives you some pp, and then you can pick up feats like "Psionic fist", "greater psionic fist", "unavoidable touch", "up the walls" etc - things that require expenditure of focus but give a decent benefit.

That way you can stay a straight monk but gain some cool "ki" powers too.

That is what I started up in our current Scarred Lands Game. Ended up with some weird variants however.

I started with Wild Talent and Psionic Fist. I sort of likened him to Iron Fist from Marvel comics. I soon however picked up "Ki Projection" from the Monks and Paladins book (which may be a broken feat) and "Energy of Life" of course I found a cool miniature that I liked and wanted to represent Kenzo Rai. The mini (an Exalted one I think) has a Bastard Sword on his back however, so in game I ended up straying some from Monk and took 2 levels of Fighter. Missing my "Monk-ness" I ended up getting "Fist of Zouken" modified for Scarred Lands of course.
Inertial Armor has been a huge boon in fights. I have a nasty Unavoidable Strike/Flying Kick/Full Power Attack charge I get to pull off sometimes.

If there is any interest I could post his full charsheet.

Perhaps the best way to do this is to play straight Monk and choose Psionic feats that don't require a PP reserve. Since Concentration is actually a class skill for monks, psionic focus isn't an issue.

You might also want to look into customizing the monk class a little bit. The list of monk bonus feats represents typical choices for "martial arts styles". A chain of 3 Psionic feats, or a mixed chain with 1-2 Psionic feats, could perhaps represent a style. The first two feats should both be something the DM doesn't mind you having early, since you get them at 1st and 2nd level. The last feat can be a little advanced, since you get it at 6th level. For instance, a "psychic hard style" could have Power Attack, Psionic Fist, and Unavoidable Strike as their bonus feats. A reasonable DM will probably allow this.

A couple of levels in psychic warrior might be useful for gaining some PP for the "reserve" feats, not to mention 2 bonus feats. This would dilute the monk's abilities a bit, so it's not recommended unless you REALLY want one or two of the lower level powers or a "reserve" feat.

A "psychic monk" class would probably work well.

Lose some monk stuff (maybe most abilities except flurry and unarmed attacks) and give him the psywar spell progression.

Squire James, psionic feats no longer require PP reserves. That's what the focus is for.

KaeYoss - heck, just turn the Fist of Zuoken into a base class. It already has a psywar-like power progression. d6 HD, good Refl & Will saves, Autohypnosis & Know (psi) as class skills. Gets unarmed damage as monk, Wis bonus to AC, monk bonus to AC, and monk speed. Gets PP and powers known as psywar. Gets Stunning Fist at 1st, Evasion at 2nd, Still Mind at 3rd, Ki Strike (magic) at 4th. Gets bonus psi feat at 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th. Ta-daa, instant psionic monk.

This is basically what I do - I have a monk style that gives bonus feats as
1st Stunning Blow
2nd Speed of Thought
6th Up The Walls
and the ability to multiclass freely as psionic warrior.
