Is there a place where you can find accurate release dates????

I was wondering if such a place exists other than So and So product will be released in April.

Most companies only have the month down of a products release on the web page. An example is the new Player's book for Iron Kingdoms. I want a more accurate date than April but it looks like I will just have to wait. Also most releases are in the later part of the month.

Thanks in advance

Well, it may be that nomore accurate date exists. Remember that publishing is a complicated business, with many parts. There's the publishing company itself, theprinter, distributors, and unknown variables in the time it takes things to get from one to the other. While a big publisher can put a bit of effort and pressure behind making sure that everythign is done by a very specific date, smaller publishers probably don't find this economical.

If I want to see what new products are out and available, I check RPGshop under, "100 newest products with images." My FLGS matches with RPGshop regarding most of the new products.

Remember that most release dates are subject to change often. Therefore companies often keep them vague deliberately, as lots can go wrong from trouble getting the product finished in-house to problems getting it on the shelves.

If you ever find such a place, please let us know. As others have said, release dates are basically a goal, not a guarantee.

With d20 publishers, add 3 months to a release date and you'll generally be right. (Except Mongoose, which likes to release something every day. ;) )
