Is There A Spell That Makes You Colossal Size?

Mind you, a beetle, for example, would take forever to kill, but it's very doable and, since the PCs should all be able to fly faster than the beetle can move, and to damage it from outside its reach, it's just not a credible threat. Actually, looking at the poor beetle, it's painfully easy to kill if you're not pressed for time: for all its amazingly high armor class, unexplained spell resistance and over the top AC, it has no energy resistance. Anyone with a fly spell, a bag of holding full of alchemists fire, and a whole lot of patience can kill it. (For reference, it would take an average of 784 alechemists fires to do the job, which would cost 15,680 gp  , so there's probably a cheaper/more efficient way to do it).
There's plenty of conjuration spells which do energy damage and aren't effected by spell resistance.

Rocks! Thanks alot guys.

However if there were a spell that had a range of Long and made the target Colossal... what level should it be? 8th or 9th?

Well if it only worked on creatures actively hostile to the caster and made them immune to charms/dominates and diplomacy, I would make it low level.

Fighter, "Well, YOU made it that freakin huge. YOU deal with it."

That was indeed my experience- it took the party over a minute in game time, meaning more than 10 rounds (an absurdly long time for any combat to last in most 3.X D&D games, particularly at Epic level), but nobody except the tank even took any damage- they all stayed back and blasted. Four characters were involved, including one of the PC dragons and the party blaster-sorceress; none were actually threatened except the tank- and that only because it was actually a Fiendish Devastation Beetle, and therefore had an INT score and could use tactics to some dim degree (I had it start readying actions to attack when the tank got in reach- which he had to to make his own attacks of course).

Hey, I like that. :) I should run this by my players for a laugh or few. They never use mundane items anymore, but this might make them think twice- the money is completely trivial at their level of course. ("Okay, so after buying the flasks, I only have... 750,000 gp left?!? How will I ever afford that +7 sword now?")

There's the possible deus ex machina at the end of Mad Monkey vs the Dragon Claws adventure from Second Edition (First?). Download it from WotC's website and its near the bottom of page 50. It's only a temporary boost like a Power Rangers monster.

Other than that, some sort of gigantic suit of armor with the pilot inside or a golem like the Samurai Jack episode.
