Is there an alternative to "Hero Machine"?

just kidding - I can't draw, and am dependant on HeroMAchine, if I'm responsible for the look of the character.

I don't know any other utility.. yet.

there was supposed to be version 2 availble, but you'll have to pay for it - it's a lot better than v1.

And there was supposed to be a Champions (Hero) character generator, but it's vapor-ware.

It's somewhat better than v1, but there hasn't been an update to it since about July of 2002. It's OK, but it still has a long, long way to go to be anything more than a very simple designer.
