OSR Is there an uptick of "fairy tale" style OSR products?

Heh. If there's one word that lets you know you've entered OSR territory, it's psychedelic.

TBF all those are by the same author, who's clearly got a niche.

Artistic movements often arise in reaction to previous ones. The Renaissance thought the medievals were primitive. The Baroque thought the Renaissance was too restrained. The Neoclassicists though the Baroque was too much. The Romantics thought the Neoclassicists were too rational. The Realists thought the Romantics were too fanciful.

So it makes sense with a lot of grimdark some people would do noblebright.

I mean... Most of the Faerie settings coming out of the OSR have dark elements, but they're cloaked beneath the bright surface. But they're definitely not grimdark, more grimbright!
