Is there such a thing as a Biomancer?

I played around with something along those lines, but it was called a Vivimancer. In some respects the class was as repulsive as the Necromancer because they liked to experiment with life forms, making modifications, adding parts, and so forth. You could, for example, conceive of chimerical life forms as the products of Vivimancer experiments. They might live inside giant hollow plants or trees that they have modified to serve the purpose. They would be masters of diseases, toxins, organ transplants, &c. They may live for long periods because they have mastered rejuvenation through body part transfers, but they could be hideous in appearance due to parts from various creatures. &c. :)

Do you have something in mind for a class?

I haven't played it or seen it played, but I did save it and offered it up a few times in some of my games (along with several other things) as a potential path PC's could take. Once someone planned on taking it, but his PC died tragically, and he came back with a different concept altogether.

Interestingly enough, someone did once make a Biomancer class. The same guy who wrote the Invisible Blade PrC. I don't know if it was ever published, but here's a link to his website, the secion with different PrC's he's made (including, of course, the Biomancer)

Hey, thanks! This was (more or less) *exactly* what I had in mind. At least, the literal description of the class, that it. If I was better versed in the rules I'd be able to say whether or not the "crunch" side of the class was what I was thinking. But it's so far so good.....thanks again! :)
