Is there such a thing as an undead troll???

AFAIAC, any circumstance of anything immune to non-lethal damage having regeneration is best solved by simply saying that creatures can still have damage converted to non-lethal, even if they can't have it inflicted on them directly.

This is probably a house rule, but it's not totally without precedent. Liches can polymorph themselves, despite being immune to polymorph.

glass.

It's much more scary for the players when the albino troll shrugs off everything except fire and acid damage.

A year later, my players still talk about the horror of fighting the albino troll. Fleeing the first encounter and loading up on fire spells before it caught up to them the next day.

Fiend Folio for Zodar, MMII for blunt weapon immunity. Both 3.0 sources - but neither has had 3.5 reprints. Wizard even put out 3.5 updates for each, with no mentioning of removing immunities.

Huh. There's an interesting thought. A lich Shapechanges into a troll, and soaks up massive nonlethal damage. He changes back to lich. What happens to the damage?

What if he changes back into troll next round?

Hey guys, thanks for all the expert feedback on my question! Obviously, I was under the impression that once a troll reached negative hit points it just goes on regenerating until it becomes alive again. I guess I was incorrect, no?

Book of Exalted Deeds has: Sublime Revelry: immune mind-affecting and 50% damage reduction from physical attacks. 1 ally per level. a 9th level minute per level spell. It entered my mind as horribly wrong having played NeverWinter Nights.
