Is thier a feat to get an animal companion?

I remember a feat that lets you get a animal companion like a ranger. Does anyone else remember this feat or did I imagine it?

Wild Cohort, as I recall.

Don't remember if it's 3.0 or 3.5. I think it was in a Wizards of the Coast web enhancement or other WotC website article. May have been in Races of the Wild or something, though.
