Is this a druid cheat?

Could my druid ,using his natural venom immunity, have his clothing full of snakes and grapple opponents. What about using scorpions as caltropes i.e reach into bag- throw several scorpions at enemy?
What sort of game mechanic would cover this?

1) Get used to the line "is that a snake in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?"

2) The little scorpions get crunched underfoot by the bad guys' boots. Oh well.

To what end? Snakes don't commonly strike through cloth. You'd get a druid that gets lots of snake bites. Immune to venom or not, those still do physical damage...

Well I was thinking to use the druids animal affinity or perhaps just animal handling to have them slide out my sleves or what ever and attack the target.

See if you can convince your DM to let you have the snake darts spell, from Oriental Adventures. Basically two snake tattoos on your arms animate, fly to the target and attack, and fly back to you. You swallow the snakes, and they reappear on your arms.

I never considered buying OA until I read that. VERY cool.

One of the villains I use in my campaign has a Giant COnstrictor as animal companion (He is Druid).

The first combat was quite deadly - 3 characters attacked, two were killed.
Unfortunately, this won`t rescue the Druid, I think - he cannot escape his current position without help from the outside...

One of the druids in my games (yeah, there are a lot of the greenpeace guys lately) has a little viper as companion... she's curled around his wrist usually. He used her more than once to attack the enemy when he applied an Improved Unarmed Strike to touch an enemy and let her "hop" over ...

But yes, ask the DM :D

If I player wanted to have snakes in his clothing I would be fine with it. IT would hurt his people skjills for sure, but it would be great for combat.

Those tiny animal companions are preety weak compared to the big ones, so its nice that they get an advantage.
