Is this strange and unusual?

Would it be strange to become attached to your Baldur's Gate character to the point that you want to write him up as a 3rd edition character, along with his wife, as well as roll up their children(I.E. family tree)? And among other things, use them as actual characters in a FR campaign(not PCs, but NPCs)?

This is something I have been contemplating for some time, and I's like some opinions on the idea.

JUST WHAT I WAS THINKING!

I'll need some time...a few months or so...to get acquainted with the various aspects of the Forgotten Realms which I do now know of. Drew, would you have ANY books on the forgotten realms?

I've got the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, which is really all you'll need. You can borrow it(heck, come on over tonight or tomorrow to pick it up!) for as long as you need as long as that doesn't constitute forever.

Plus I've got Monsters of Faerun.

Try the mid afternoon, around 2 or 3 o'clock.

If the house smells like gasoline and you se me with my head in the oven, I bequeath you my entire collection for keeps(although RakeRon gets custody of them on alternate weekends and Wednesdays).
