In the player's guide to Forgotten Realms within the first few pages they list what material is compatable, and they sight UE as one of the books that is pretty current. But unless any of the available material is directly covered by the PGFR then it is still legit

Strictly speaking, no. But as the PGFR states, it's got no glaring issues with 3.5 - and what few there might have been, are amply covered by the PGFR itself. In fact, the PGFR exists to update all 3.0 Realms products to 3.5 rules. ^_^
